enp Alberta

The Trico Charitable Foundation and Enterprising Non-Profits British Columbia (enp-bc) have embarked on a joint initiative to launch Enterprising Non-Profits Alberta (enp-ab), a program based on the successes of enp-bc.

Enp is a collaborative program that provides grants and technical assistance to non-profit organizations to support the development or growth of their social enterprises (i.e., revenue generating businesses). Enp holds Social Enterprise workshops in the spring and fall for non-profit organizations wanting to learn more about social enterprise and how to gain access to enp grants for business planning projects.

Next grant deadline for enp-Alberta:  4pm on May 24, 2012.  To be eligible for the Capital One Youth Entrepreneurship Fund, applicants must attend an enp-ab workshop and follow the regular grant procedures.  If your organization is youth-driven or youth-serving, your application will be noted and consideration will be given.
