Enterprising Non-Profits (enp) is very proud to welcome our newest funding partner, the Southern Interior Development Initiative Trust (SIDIT). The mission of the Southern Interior Development Initiative Trust is to support regionally strategic investments in economic development projects that will have long-lasting and measurable regional benefits for the Southern Interior. Their objective is to help grow and diversify the economy of the Southern Interior of British Columbia.
"This is a great match and partnership for enp's goals to support the development and growth of social enterprise across BC," said David LePage, enp's Program Manager.
Social enterprises are businesses operated by non-profit organizations for the dual purpose of generating income from sales and providing a social, cultural or environmental value. See www.enterprisingnonprofits.ca for more information and a schedule of enp workshops.
SIDIT joins enp's other nine funding partners who provide collectively provide grants and resources to non-profit organizations across BC to develop and grow social enterprises. The SIDIT funds will leverage additional investment and support into their geographic region through the collaborative funding model of enp.
