Vancouver, B.C. - (October 25, 2010) - Karo Group, a branding agency, with offices in Calgary and Vancouver, is now accepting applications for a $50,000 brand makeover as part of its annual Karo Kaus, a company initiative that gives $100,000 of brand strategy and multi-disciplinary creative services to one not-for-profit group in each of the communities that it serves.
The following is some feedback from James Cronk, managing Producer of Theatre Under The Stars and 2009's Karo Kaus recipient:
"Following on the success of our 2009 season, Theatre Under the Stars experienced unprecedented 40% growth in ticket revenue in 2010! Two hit productions of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Singin' in the Rain brought over 36,000 people to Malkin Bowl. The shows were applauded by critics and audiences alike, and that was just a small part of TUTS' success. Non ticket revenue increased over 80%, which included for the first time a $50,000 Season Sponsor in TD Canada Trust. "I believe wholeheartedly that the rebranding we received from KARO in 2009 played a major part in our success this year", said James Cronk, Managing Producer for TUTS, "Our wonderful images, colors and new logo continue to be commented on by our patrons, our sponsors and our volunteers. It has raised our profile and elevated our brand and our organization to a new level. We are excited about the future and are looking forward to building on these successes."
