"Social Business: Advancing the Viability of a Model for Economic and Occupational Justice for People with Disabilities"

May 2, 2011

This work presents the results of a cross-Canada survey through which Queen's attempted to identify social businesses that have as part of their mandate the goal of employing people with disabilities. This study was the first in a series of studies through which Queen's seeks to understand and critically consider the merits and challenges of social businesses and the role they can and do play in the larger disability discourse.
