Four Social EnterPrizes will be granted annually by the Trico Charitable Foundation. These awards will fall under the categories of organizational (two) awards and individual (two) awards. Details pertaining to each award category are as follows:

The two organizational awards will be given to entrepreneurial non-profit organizations who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and innovation to benefit society.  Award amount is $60,000 over three years.

• One organizational award will be granted to an entrepreneurial non-profit organization that has been involved in social entrepreneurship for three years or less.
• One organizational award will be granted to an entrepreneurial non-profit organization that has been involved in social entrepreneurship for at least three years.

The two individual awards will be given to people who hold full time positions as social entrepreneurs within the non-profit sector, and who intend to continue providing leadership in an effort to innovate and build capacity.  Award amount is one time grant of $10,000.

• One individual award will be given to an inspired and emerging social entrepreneur who has demonstrated commitment and a passion to create social change in the (at least) three years they have been employed in the non-profit sector.
• One individual award will be given to a social entrepreneurial visionary who has provided leadership and been committed to creating social change through innovative solutions for at least the past five years within the non-profit sector.

The Social EnterPrize selection process will be overseen by a jury composed of five members. Jury deliberations will occur in the fall of each year, finalists will be notified and award winners will be announced at our annual conference.
