enp Nova Scotia

With funding provided by the Government of Nova Scotia, the Atlantic Council on Community and Social Enterprise and Enterprising Non-Profits British Columbia (enp-bc) have launched Enterprising Non-Profits Nova Scotia (enp-NS), a program based on the successes of enp-bc.

 enp-NS provides grants and technical assistance to non-profit organizations to support the development or growth of their social enterprises (revenue generating businesses).  enp-NS held three orientation workshops in the Spring of 2012 and will hold another three workshops in the fall for non-profit organizations wanting to learn more about social enterprise and how to gain access to enp grants for business planning projects.

Next grant deadline for enp-NS is: 4:00pm on May 24, 2012.  To be eligible, applicants must have attended one of the enp-NS Orientation Workshops and follow the regular grant procedures.
