SAP Business Objects wants to help amplify the use of Demonstrating Value by social enterprises across the country” Steve Williams, Director of Worldwide Community at SAP Business Objects stated as he announced last week the increasing support for the program.Several years ago Vancity Credit Union and two social enterprises began the process of developing a method of measuring their return on investment.  “Next month we will launch the Demonstrating Value website, full of tools and support for social enterprises to measure their success in their business activity, mission accomplishment, and organizational sustainability” added Bryn Sadownik, the Demonstrating Value Project Lead. The site, www.demonstratingvalue.ca, will be live at the end of March. The project engages both social enterprise investors and operators in a process to develop and pilot a framework that will assist a social enterprise and their stakeholders to understand, communicate and assess financial performance, organizational sustainability, and mission-related impacts.
