Phoenix Print Shop Holiday Card Initiative

Phoenix Print Shop is an environmentally responsible graphics training
facility and commercial print shop in Toronto, helping at-risk youth connect to
graphics careers. The 2007 Phoenix Print Shop Design Competition with youth was
a huge success, with professional design judges choosing four holiday card
designs. The annual design competition is an ongoing way to engage youth
creatively and constructively. The cards can be viewed and purchased online at:

The Print Shop has a goal of selling 1000 sets of cards by October 26, 2007.

9th Social Enterprise Summit in Boston - Call for Proposals

The 9th Social Enterprise Summit will be held March 9-11, 2008 in Boston, MA.
This year's event, themed Building Networks - Forming Partnership -
Accessing Capital,
expects over 600 entrepreneurial practitioners
from leading non-profits and social purpose businesses to convene in Boston to
advance innovative ideas for solving social issues. The Summit invites the
submission of high-quality educational presentations for the event by September

BC Technology Social Venture Partners Announces Fall Grant Cycle

BC Technology Social Venture Partners (BCT SVP) is a network of BC technology
leaders and their families who provide financial assistance and mentorship to
help not-for-profit organizations increase their capacity to deliver positive
social impact. BCT SVP is now accepting proposals for its 2007 Fall Grant Cycle.
