The ability to measure and report on the financial and social results of social enterprises is increasingly important for non-profits, funders, investors, and government. Integrating a performance measurement system into your business development and management process will enable you to better understand and communicate the value of your social enterprise. It will also help you to improve your business - to get better at deliverying your products and services, running efficiently and achieving your mission. This session will explore the Canadian context for social enterprise preformance measurement, discuss several measurement models and go through some key steps in the development of a performace management system.
