Organization get $1M boost to employment programs

Funds will help disabled workers, newcomers find jobs

Trillium Foundation Grants Support Innovative Approaches to Financing, Entrepreneurship and Employment
Several organization will benefit including Causeway Work Centre which operates three social enterprises: Krackers Catering, Good Nature Groundskeeping and Cycle Salvation. Causeway will use the money for a joint program with Carleton's Centre for Community Innovation, Algonquin College and the Ottawa Community Loan Fund to train and support other social agencies interested in starting their own social enterprises.
