Session Description:
Business planning is an essential step in thinking through all aspects of social enterprise development, launch and operations, and is usually a requirement in obtaining financing. Participants of this workshop can expect to gain knowledge of the key components of a business plan and will be given examples of what information belongs in their plan. A particular emphasis will be given to key areas such as marketing, financing, ownership structures, and management. The session will be interactive with open discussion particularly focusing on key differences between social enterprise palns and mainstream business plans.
