2008 Summit Background
Held from November 17 to 19, 2008, in Vancouver, the objective of the Summit was to contribute to generating a shared set of goals and objectives attached to a specific plan of activities, roles, and responsibilities that will move us forward on an agenda to achieve a strong and healthy environment for social enterprise in BC. There are four integrated key components that provide a framework for creating a supportive environment for social enterprise: Encourage Awareness and Demonstrate Value, Enhance Enterprise Skills, Ensure Access to Capital and Investment, and Expand Market Opportunities.
Enp was the secretariat for the summit and co-hosted the event with ten other organizations.
